Parking Updates

New parking option

The Operations & Facilities Management Department is currently offering remote parking free of charge at 1234 S. Kingshighway for the first 300 current WUSM employee parkers who sign up for this program. To be eligible for free parking in this location, you must be a WUSM parker assigned to a current lot or garage on the School of Medicine campus who holds a monthly permit.

If you are interested in moving from your current location to the 1234 S. Kingshighway location, please contact the Transportation & Parking Office by email. Employees who sign up for this location will forfeit their current parking location and will be reassigned to the Kingshighway lot and a new permit will be issued for individual use. A 1234 S. Kingshighway parking permit will be required at all times when utilizing this parking lot. Permits may not be shared and are assigned to employee ID numbers for employee use only.

The 1234 S. Kingshighway lot will be gated and staffed by security during business hours. The lot is located in a residential neighborhood by an active School of Medicine building. Additionally, we now have two shuttles operating at this location. The shuttles will run from the Kingshighway lot to the Mid Campus Center (MCC) Monday through Friday, 5am – 7pm. The shuttles run every 20 minutes. Transportation can be requested outside of these hours through Protective Services by dialing 314-362-4357.

If you wish to sign up for this parking lot in advance of the opening, please email the Transportation & Parking office.
