All Gender Restrooms
All gender restrooms are located on floors 1, 6, 8 and 10. All gender restrooms are managed by OFMD custodial services. Menstrual hygiene products will be available in these restrooms. For additional questions, please contact Michelle Lewis at lewismichelle@wustl.edu.

Training: Equipment manufacturer [Steris] will provide training to glass wash and autoclave users. Details forthcoming.
User Agreement: The Central Glass Wash Facility (floor 2) and Sterilizer Rooms (floors 3-10) will be available to building occupants who have reviewed the training items and acknowledge they understand the proper use of the machines/safety procedures by signing the “NRB Glass Wash Facility & Sterilizer User Agreement”. Find these training items and terms by clicking here. Please send the signed terms to Building Manager, Amanda Corgan. Once it has been received by building management, this will automatically clear you to use the spaces.
Staffing: The Central Glass Wash Facility and Sterilizer Rooms staffing and scheduling are provided by one’s own department or other intradepartmental arrangement.
Access: Sterilizer Rooms on floors 3-9: keys are not required and are available to each floor’s occupants.
The Central Glass Wash Facility (floor 2) requires badge access to be granted.
Supplies: Sterilizer Room (floors 3-9) supplies are to be ordered and managed by the department. OFMD will provide basic supplies (detergents, etc.) in the Central Glass Wash Facility until January 1, 2024 at which time departments will be responsible for stocking supplies.

Lactation Rooms
Lactation rooms are for breastfeeding individuals and are located on floors 3, 7 and 9. Lactation room amenities include 1 Ameda hospital-grade breast pump, chair, small refrigerator, sink, reprogrammable lockers and cleaning supplies for pump and surface area. To maintain security and privacy, lactation rooms are badge accessible and require registration.
Supplies for Ameda pumps are available for purchase in the St. Louis children’s Hospital Pharmacy for $30. The pharmacy is open 9a-6p, Monday through Friday. OFMD manages the lactation rooms . Locker Rooms & Showers
Located on the first floor, east of the auditorium, are the male (01025) and female (01027) locker rooms. There are 16 lockers, 3 standard showers and 1 ADA shower in each area. Each all gender restroom located on the first floor (rooms 01024 and 01026) has a shower.
Please note, personal locks are not permitted on the lockers.
Lockers on Lab Floors
On each lab floor, day use lockers with reprogrammable locks are available at each typical lab entry. Lockers will be managed by the NRB building manager Amanda Corgan.
Retail & Food
Kaldi’s Coffee at the Neuroscience Research Building (NRB)
Kaldi's Coffee is on the third floor at the link entrance of the Neuroscience Research Building, Effective October 23, 2023, Kaldi's will be open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. Kaldi’s Café offers a coffeehouse experience with brewed coffee and espresso beverages prepared by Kaldi’s Coffee Co. Fresh baked pastries muffins, sandwiches, wraps and soups are prepared daily. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon pick me up.
Shuttle Pick-Up & Drop-Off
The (Orange) Duncan Central and the (Red) Cortex shuttles will pick up passengers from 4370 Duncan Avenue Monday through Friday, 5:00am – 8:00pm. The shuttle will run every 10-15 minutes, depending on weather and traffic conditions. Transportation can be requested outside of these hours through Protective Services by dialing 314-362-4357.
